Question:
Anyone know of a good cream for (what I think they call basil) skin cancer?
This is definetly NOT melanoma, as this person would be dead by now. (Has
had a "sore" on face that won't heal and hasnt for over 10 years).
Answer:
I just had a basal cell cancer removed last fall. It was above my lip and
the second I have had. My dentist was the one who urged me to go to a
doctor. My doctor removed it and another mole at the same time. Less than
a week later I had a call telling me that I should come in so the doctor
could talk to me about it. The call meant it was cancerous.
Basal cell cancers are the easiest form of skin cancer to treat. However,
they do require surgical treatment. They put out roots that dig deeper
into the body. After my doctor initially removed the cancer I had to go
to a surgeon so he could remove more of the surrounding tissue to determine
there were no roots. I don't believe that cream is going to take care of
the roots.
And my doctor told me that I will have more of them. It may be 8-10 years
from now but there will be more.
If there is any way possible I would highly recommend this person see a
doctor.
