Do physical sunscreens protect against both UVA and UVB rays?

Question:
Do physical sunscreens protect against both UVA and UVB rays? Can you recommend one?

Answer:
That's a great one (though for me, personally, I prefer a higher SPF than Olay offers), but it's not *only* physical. The Olay has chemical sunscreens in it too. Actually all my favorites do have a combination - my latest drugstore SPF success is Coppertone Spectra 3 SPF50. I have the one in the pink bottle, and haven't tried the other one to be able to compare, but it's the baby formula, and I like that it is fragrance free. That one has zinc oxide but also contains several chemical sunscreens.

Not aware of too many physical-only sunscreens, except Neutrogena's (not all of them of course, but they have one that has just titanium dioxide and no chemical sunscreens), and Origins has one too (I forget what it's called - Silent Treatment, maybe?). Also I know Clinique City Block has titanium dioxide, but offhand I can't remember if it also has chemical sunscreens as well. Shiseido's newish SPF 50 (Ultimate sunscreen or something like that, I think) has zinc oxide in addition to chemical sunscreens. HTH a little,
