Question:
Has anyone come across a good sun screen for hair that has been
colored? I'd prefer a stand alone product, not one inclusive in a shampoo or conditioner.
Answer:
Bumble & Bumble and Molton Brown both make sunscreen sprays for hair.
Of the two, I like the B&B best. Phyto also makes one, but it's not a
spray. I don't believe that any of these are available in drug
stores.
I found that using a sunscreen for hair does help keep my hair from
getting bleached out during the summer. Also, now that my hair's very
short, I notice that it protects my scalp from getting a sunburn.
