Question:
I read the magazine aritcle about the cyclist with skin cancer. I
realized I didn't know what to look for in order to do self exams on a
continual basis. I searched the net for images of what forms skin
cancer would take, in order to be able to identify possible problems on
my skin, and thus take advantage of early detection. I found no images,
but I found a web site for Northern California Kaiser Health. Being a
Kaiser member and norcal resident, I wrote the webmaster and requested
some images of what a skin cancer would look like be accessible on that
site, but so far no response. Does someone know of a site with pics of
examples of skin cancer?
Answer:
The only site I've found with pictures
http://biomed.nus.sg/nsc/skin.html
but they don't have any pictures like the pinhead-sized blood freckle
described in the article. If you find any good links, please post them
