Question:
What are signs of melanoma?
Answer:
Characteristics indicative of malignancy in any mole are skin
ulceration, chronic
drainage, recent noticeable change in an old skin lesion, recurrent skin
infections, variegated or mixed coloration, irregular borders or surface
& large size (more than 5mm). These lesions require biopsy. Another sign
of malignant change is satellitosis where smaller copies of the main
mole appear around this main mole.
