Could this be an allergic reaction to the facial products(including Shade Sunblock)?

Question:
The scenerio: yesterday I was working in the garden. In preparation for the sun exposure I slathered on various sunscreen products (on face): Eucerin Facial Moisturizing Lotion, SPF 25, Shade Sunblock, SPF 45 and Shiseido Translucent Sun Block Stick SPF 30. At the end of the day I looked in the mirror and noticed that both my eyes looked extremely blood shot.

This morning both my eyes were "crusty" and very blood shot. No pain, no itching, no burning.

Question: could this be an allergic reaction to the facial products? OR (gasp) a case of conjunctivitis? Any words of wisdom?

Answer:
Watching the news last night, the pollen count was extremely high yesterday - could that be the problem?
