Question:
Some of you out there have URLs for good sun-protective clothing.I need to
find those URLs again, and get me a hat and a cover-up for over my shirt.
If any of you have purchased these products, tell me how you like them.
Please, this will be my first adventure with this kind of product.
Thanks in advance.
Answer:
Here are some of my sources:
sungrubbies.com (have fingerless gloves, fabric and lots of other stuff)
coolibar.com
sunsibility.com
seriouslyshady.com (for the Rit sunprotective stuff you put in the
wash for your regular clothes.Gives an SPF of 30 for 20 washings.About $4 a load)
You can find good deals on hats and sunprotective clothes at these two
sites, but you have to search through all their other stuff:
campmor.com (I've found a couple hats here)
sierratradingpost.com (good deals on shirts and pants sometimes)
My sister found an SPF 50 beach umbrella at here Linens and Things in
North Carolina for $12.99 (with a coupon).I haven't gotten in here to look yet.
Some golf and sporting goods stores (like REI and Gallians -spelling?)
also carry sunprotective clothing. They aren't cheaper than the catalogs, but you can at least try them on and avoid shipping charges.
Happy Shopping!
