Question:
I have been diagnosed with ocular melanoma. I am considering a
melanoma vaccine...a program being developed by Dr. Donald Morton at
John Wayne Cancer Inst. in California. Does anyone have any
information on this vaccine?
Answer:
There is some info in the article "Vaccine Therapy for Malignant Melanoma"
by Donald L. Morton, MD and Andreas Barth, MD on the web page
http://www.ca-journal.org/frames/articles/articles_1996/46_225-245.html
A couple of other vaccine links:
"The Promise of Vaccines"

"Categories of Cancer Vaccines"

For ocular melanoma Dr. Tallberg's web page http://www.tallberg.fi/med/ is also worth checking out.
