Question:
I'm looking for information on alternative treatments for malignant
melanoma cancer. I heard recently that someone has come up with a
treatment involving large doses of Vitamin C - can anyone tell me more?
Any other suggested treatments would be useful, too. My mother has been
getting 'lumps' taken out for 7 years now, and is constantly on the lookout
for new suggestions.
Answer:
I know someone who had melanoma for 5 years and got no treatment and it
didn't grow beyond the danger limit. She had had it for 6 months and it
grew pretty fast during that time, but then she became a lacto-ovo
vegetarian and stayed away from sugar. She also put vitamin e and ground
up apricot kernals on it.
You might also want to try taking vitamin b2. Fair-skinned people seem to
be more suseptible to melanoma as well as acne rosacea. It seems that
rosacea could be caused by the same thing that causes blood-shot
eyes--i.e., too little b2 (which supplies oxygen) getting to the area causes
tiny blood vessels to form in order to bring in the oxygen. Easy bruising
also seems to be characteristic of fair-skinned people, so bioflavinoids
and vitamin c in megadoses should be helpful.
I'm sure that a food/nutritional program is very important for this
condition.
