Can you suggest thalifomide clinical trials?

Question:
I've been researching recent clinical trials utilizing Thalidomide, and it sounds promising. The trials I have found to this point, though, are for brain, skin (kaposi's sarcoma), prostate, and breast cancer. My uncle has melanoma...we are looking for a thalidomide clinical trial which addresses this specifically or doesn't specify cancer type. I know it's a shot in the dark, but has anyone else out there been looking at this and found anything?

Answer:
There is infformation about prostate cancer clinical trails with thalidomide at Rockville and Bethesda, Md. check out the site: http://www.slip.net~mcdavis/database/thalid6.htm I don't know where you are living, the US or UK but there wa also a trial with thalidomide for mestatic melanoma, renal cell and ovarion and breast cancers at the Royal Marsden in London Eng. Se: http://www.slip.net/~mcdavis/database/co981669.htm I found these articles on an excitesearch netscape search at: http://excitesharch.netscape.com/gw....showsummary=true&sorig=rpage&t... ( you will probably have to type this one in because the last bit is being cut off by my email line size). Good luck. Susan
