Question:
Any one know of any links for children with Melanoma.
My 11 year old has a mole that has become itchy. I made an appointment
with my dermatologist, however, it is not until June 30. With my family
history (see below), I didn't like the thought of waiting that long.
Thought
maybe I was over reacting, didn't think children got Melanoma, then I found
an article, now I'm more concerned then ever and really don't like the idea
of waiting.
I was diagnosed in 82 at the age of 26, my brother has just recently been
diagnosed, my mothers identical twin sister was diagnosed about 10 years
ago.

IMO yu should find a Derm who will biopsy the mole ASAP. Like all MM,
the sooner it is found the better the chances are.
