Can you tell me whether a device developed at University of Missouri that can detect skin cancer cells in the blood exists?

Question:
On the TV news, they showed a device developed at University of Missouri I think, that can detect skin cancer cells in the blood, & can determine if those type of cancer treatments have worked?

Answer:
If it was reliable, all it would do is tell people earlier that their melanoma was spreading or recurring. I'd rather be blissfully happy for as long as possible, if it were recurring
